"Growing up I saw how much Gamma had helped my older sister navigate her way through university, and I knew I wanted to have the same support system she had while attending school. GAO is also very professional, and I know that being a part of Gamma will help me boost my confidence and be ready for professionalism in the future."

"I chose Gamma because it felt like a family when I first assisted their study tables. A group that was full of loving kind hearted women who were confident and knew what they wanted in life. From that moment on, I knew I had found my people and that home away from home. Gamma has taught me so much. It has helped me increase my confidence as well as to be a leader in my academic and personal life. Gamma Alpha Omega will forever have a special place in my heart!"

"As a legacy from my mom, I had grown up being able to call all these wonderful women my tias. I could feel the love they had for me from the minute I was introduced, and that always stuck in my head. When I began my journey for higher education, I deeply struggled but I was too nervous to try to join GAO. I finally decided I needed to change something and went to some events. On the last day I felt an immediate connection with some women who would end up being in my family tree. I quickly felt like I was with women that understood my struggle and felt familiar to back home, so I decided to commit! This organization has helped me build my confidence, leadership skills, professionalism, networking, and so much more. Not to mention, I’m always surrounded by women I get to call role models that encourage me to be my best and cheer me on all the time."
